This week we were being with my class in the gallery in Banská Bystrica. It is called NATURAL MATERIALS. It was the exhibition of two younger artists - RICHARD LOSKOT and MICHAL ŠIMONFY.
I love the art but I think it was very strange and little bit boring for me maybe because I was talking a lot with my classmate when we were watching the exhibiton.
I remembered that the artists wanted to express life on the Earth or something that. When we were coming to the first room we just saw the mirrors from which light was reflecting from the reflector. Then we saw also about 4 other things.
The most interesting thing for me was the last thing. It was a rose and the small lights were flickering in the frequencies on it so it looked as if the rose is moving. The woman who was showing to us the exhibition said that it expresses that everything has its time and it is important for the human.
Although it wasn´t very interesting for me but on the contrary I am glad that I was there because I have other experience in addition.
;)

*KITSCH?...POP ART?*
Kitsch- is defined as "worthless artistic creation with cheap effect." Boundary between art and kitsch is often very shaky. We can say that art is also it to do of cheesy idea a beautiful new art direction.

This is example of a kitsch from my house. It looks like a live but it isn't. I like it:)
Pop Art- is a modern art movement that was popular in the 1950s and 60s, influenced by popular culture and commercial art, inspiring of the metropolitan culture and its visual manifestations (photography, film, advertising, mass media, comics).
I like this example of pop art because I like use the colors and I have also this dog :). I think it´s great.

*Our visit to the gallery*
We were with my class and my teacher in the gallery in Banská Bystrica. We were looking on the art from Mária Čorejová. Here is link on the gallery:
http://www.ssgbb.sk/vystavy/167-maria-corejova-rozhovory-ktore-vedu-inam
The exhibition is called a conversation leading elsewhere. It presents new work -ink drawings.
Mária Čorejová gave her works as "material" to other artists and designers. They entered into Čorejová works, they added and shifted their work.
When we visited the exhibition we discussed some of the main ideas in the exhibition such as that on the pictures is shows nature but also human intervention in nature.
Then we can choose a copy of one of Mária Čorejová works and develop it ourselves. In my group we wanted to show dark and bright side of life, therefore, is on the one side skull with a sinking side of the ship and on the other side smiling face still afloat.
I think this exhibition was interesting because was drawing just with -ink and you can have thought about the pictures.

A short story...*VALIDATION*
´YOU ARE AWESOME!´
Yes, like this started this story about man who made smile on people´s faces. How amazing! This man was just parking attendant. Suffice to say a few compliments, and person was feeling better. It started with a guy who came to mark a ticket and went from there like changed. Suddenly appeared series of people and no one understood what was happening. The parking attendant suddenly changed the world just with a few sentences. These sentences but had its meaning. You wouldn´t feel much better if every day someone says to you that you are amazing and what a great work you are doing? Definitely yes. As every story this has a twist also. When the man was going to take a picture on his card he met the woman. Victoria who wasn´t smiling very long time .A man was in love with her and wanted to see her smile. A very long time he persuaded her and then he gave up and finally stopped laughing also. Then he wasn´t making smile on people´s faces. One time a young couple asked him if he could take a picture of them. He told them that they can smile but saw that it isn´t really smile. He started meditate and made smile on their faces. One man asked him if he wanted to take a pictures of people , and he started with it. He ran into a woman in a wheelchair and asked her what she loves most in the world. She said that her daughter, that she has a wonderful smile. He made smile on her face and took a picture of her. One day he saw the card of a man that laughs. Just ran for a Victoria but she wasn´t in her work. There was a guy who was nervous because on the photos which made by Viktoria people were laughing. The man quickly ran to look for Victoria but he couldn´t find her anywhere, and suddenly saw a series of people who went to take a photo. Victoria saw him, and she started smiling at him. When he was seeing her smile told her that he doesn´t understand, that he tried everything. She was saying the story of when her mother had been ill and she was very sad that she forgot laughing. She told him that she wasn´t smiling three years but suddenly one man conjured up smile on face her mother again and she felt better. Her mother was a woman in a wheelchair. She knew it was him and she was trying find him everywhere but didn´t find him. Suddenly, she said a few sentences. ´You are great, you are amazing´. He told her that no one before that didn´t tell him. They got together and they started to travel the world with a smile of course!
You don´t forget! You are wonderful and you have the most beautiful smile in the whole world. So you start with a smile!

*Earth Hour-HELP SAVE THE EARTH!!!*
-Earth Hour is probably the biggest global event involving the public.
-The objective is draw attention to problems of present day - global warming , light pollution , and also to point out to spend finances on unnecessary lighting.
-I think this is a very good thing to protect our Earth. I attended this event in my town , in Banská Bystrica.
It isn´t complicated thing , just turned off for one hour the electricity. I would be very happy if the action will continue and that people will understand that it's important, and added to it.
